Coaching

What can happen in the space of a pause?

Healing and growth begin with attention; some situations benefit from sustained attention. That’s where individual sessions come in. While a course or a workshop offers a general framework within which you can explore your life, a one-on-one session starts with your specific life and needs.

Benefits of Coaching

  • Ready to imagine a way out of old patterns that no longer serve you?
  • Want to know who you are on the other side of separation or divorce?
  • Need a grieving process that supports you through loss?
  • Recovering from perfectionism, ready to swap burnout for balance?

Studies are revealing the benefits of mindfulness and meditation practice for our physical, mental, emotional and social lives. With the individualized attention of coaching sessions, you’ll focus on what matters to you most, find yourself less reactive and more creative in how you respond to the conditions of your life.

What Does This Look Like?

Lightly guided meditation practices are used to bring focus and clarity to the session as well as to more deeply explore the concerns or challenges you bring to each session. As you reflect on your experience, you’ll discover you know more about how to move through stress, crisis, and transformation than you think.

Individuals can schedule single sessions ($75/hr) as needed or a series of sessions (4 week package $60/hr) depending on your situation. Sliding scale available. Review my cancellation policy.

Can I Do This with Others?

Have a friend going through a similar experience? Belong to a community in need of healing? I’m interested in expanding the concept of coaching to small groups. Let’s explore what it means to wake up together. Contact me via email to set up a conversation.

Allison encouraged me to engage deeply with my mindfulness practice in a safe, supportive environment. She offered reflections and insights that helped guide me towards awareness of the present moment with a compassionate and patient presence. When difficult emotions arose, Allison was very tangibly present. I felt safe being in that vulnerable place with her. I especially appreciated the blend of neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, and traditional elements in her approach.

I began working with Allison a few months ago. We meet weekly for about an hour. As a life coach and therapist, I knew that I needed more than a space to report what was happening for me. Work with Allison combines deep insight with engaged practice, both in the session and between sessions. She also reminds me again and again to return to my body, something I am easily conditioned to forget about. I can already see the impact of this deep work on my day-to-day life. Grateful.
